The variable would mostly be there to keep track of which runs uses what, for now it wouldn't do much, but i think in the future, if you have to change things again, it would be really helpful. I actually tested it with my PS3 - though the console is capable of looking for a keyboard, and the lights on the keyboard light up when I plug it into the PS3, it can't control the game. The other possible situation, and it seems kinda remote, we're mainly discussing it as a strict hypothetical, is whether our M/K runners could use that control method for a console run. The mustard race bois are hard at work trying to emulate it, and we've seemingly come to the agreement that when they do manage to get it right, runs on emulator will be a separate category.

We have a game that's fully multiplatform (PC/PS3/360) but the DLC episode for that game is only for console (PS3/360).

Plus it had some aim assist, more like sticky targeting really.This isn't a seriously serious concern, but it's something one of my communities has been discussing a little lately. It's just going to take a fair bit of setting up and fiddling with deadzones and sensitivity settings, but should be possible.ДЄlthough I'm not sure you could aim and move in the original, it's been too long. Your emulator should be able to get input from the program, most let you pick the controller source.

That's software to emulate various kinds of controllers, it's smart enough to be able to translate mouse movement as a thumbstick/joystick.

So unless the wii added point to shoot support its not going to play nice with mouse/keyboard without a whole lot of work. Wikipedia says the wii had a remake, and ps3/ xbox 360 as well under the title goldeneye reloaded 007.
